More Adjustments
I found out that our facilitator had indeed responded to my questions right away but his very lengthy reply had been inadvertently filed in SPAM. The bummer is that he said court in our son's area takes a long time so the adoption can take 3-4 months. (As a comparison, Caleb's adoption took 5 weeks total.) I guess this new information makes it obvious that we will both have to take at least two trips.

Aww, sorry to hear that. That's a long time. What takes so long, the passport? Either way, I'm sure it will be hard to meet the little guy and then have to leave him there.
I am sorry! The waiting is so excrutiating.I am praying those months are speedy for you.
I'm so sorry Joy - I'm still praying thought that your case will be different and you can bring him home faster!
BTW thank you for all the comments - it really makes my day! You are a very sweet person :)
Joy,
You commented on our blog, that you would like to follow when we go private but I do not have your email address :) Can you please email me? MychelleOK@aol.com
I'm so sorry to hear this. I fell in love with little Roman when I saw him and prayed for him everyday! I was so relieved when you committed to his adoption. I will pray his adoption will go quicker than what you were told.
Amy
I'm so sorry about that news, Joy. Praying the timing will be inexplicably fast for your family.
I'm so glad you are going back for sweet little Roman.
I only wish you were here now so I could meet you. Thanks for your kindness to me during my adoption journey. You have a gift for encouragement and you use it well.
