Kristy, I hope you see this. For some reason I can't access my email this morning. Our phone in our apartment is 279-7434, our address is Gorodetskogo 4, apartment 11 (I've also seen it written Horodetskogo) We can see the top of the tall statue at Independence Square and the New Year's tree from our window. We are using Oleg's group. We don't have an appointment to go anywhere until 4:30 pm.

Hi Joy. I sent you an email, but I see now that you didn't get it. :) We are kind of far from independence square. It isn't within walking distance and we are afraid to spend money for a taxi ride. The last time we were here and took a taxi we got SEVERELY ripped off! We knew we were, but we had no other way home and would have been lost otherwise. Apparently the drivers think all Americans are rich here. At least that is what we were told. Anyway, we are extremely tight on money right now, especially not knowing if we are going to get court before the holidays. So I may have to wait and meet up with you on the way out with Dasha. Then I will have a better idea of how much money I will still need. I'm sorry. We just have to be on the really tight side right now. My biggest fear is to run out of money over here!
No problem, Kristy, if you could tell us where you are maybe we can find it on the map. We do know how to use the Metro. Sorry it has been so hard to get in touch. I will try to check the blog again in the morning. Do you have a local phone number?

We are somewhere near Parliament.
We have a cell phone now, but I cannot find the # in it. I will give you a call later after we leave the SDA. I am not sure what we are doing though. Yulia is going to try to get our referral today. If she is able to then we will leave today. If not then we will leave tomorrow and maybe we could get together this evening. Maybe I could get Yulia to call a cab for us so that we do not get over charged.
Kristy, it was great to talk to you today. I really hope you were able to get the actual referral today. I couldn't believe how exhausted I was when we got home tonight. I slept about an hour and a half, I think
