Here's the message from Nastya when I told her my curiosity was killing me about how the private meeting went with our judge.
Hello Joy,
The visit went fine. She seems like a very nice person. This court has weird rules, they want to ask five different offices in court. We have to inform them all, get letters from them that they won't be there, etc. So, preliminary hearing is for May 22. Just Alexey needs to be present. The main hearing should be about 2 weeks afterwards. You have to be present at the main hearing.
Blessings, Nastya
So, if all goes as planned we should be back in Kiev in about 6 weeks!! Believe me, we will be delighted to finally be at the main hearing!
Please pray with us concerning child care. With our travel being during summer vacation babysitters will be much more expensive than if they are just with our kids after school and during the night.
Also I have never been in Ukraine except in the winter. I am really looking forward to seeing grass, flowers, leaves on trees, etc. I really have no clue what to expect as far as temperature but I'm pretty sure we won't be needing the boots, gloves, winter coat, sweat pants, sweat shirts, tights that we left in Kiev for Steven :)

I am so glad that you are finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I can't wait for you to get Stephen home with you and out the institution!
